The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, November 17 features missed targets, as Zach holds Scott and Abby at gunpoint, Victor blames Paul for his problems, Nick and Chelsea contemplate the future.
Shoot First
Zach (Ryan Ashton) caught Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Scott (Daniel Hall) rifling through his hotel room, and pulled out a gun. Abby convinced Zach that she still loves him and promised to run away with him – as long as he doesn’t kill Scott.
Zach almost bought her act, but then he figured out that Abby and Scott slept together, and told Abby she’s no better than the girls he ran! Then a shot rang out.
Newman Nuisances
Victor (Eric Braeden) was upset to hear that Paul (Doug Davidson) has yet to locate Abby. He was even more upset about having his assets frozen by the Feds–and decided the local police department is to blame for that, too.
Though Victor wasn’t thrilled with the way Victoria (Amelia Heinle) handled the press release about it, he supported his daughter.
Neil (Kristoff St. John) wasn’t happy either, so Victoria lectured him about never undermining her authority again. Neil warned Victoria about turning into her father.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was furious about having her past outed by Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Nick (Joshua Morrow) was more concerned about explaining the situation to Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lid).
Chelsea swore she never conned Nick. Nick noted that’s exactly what a con would say.
Brain Games
Jack (Peter Bergman) brought in a doctor to evaluate Dina (Marla Adams), but when she struggled with his questions, Jack tossed the expert out.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson), who wasn’t even there for the exam, told Jack they have to face facts: Their mother has Alzheimers. Who needs a professional diagnosis?
