The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, May 25 sets up multiple decisions, as Jack wanted Kyle to follow his lead at Jabot, Abby wondered whether to proposition Arturo, and Devon had to break some bad news to Hilary.

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson) nearly came to blows as they argued over whether to discontinue John Abbott’s signature perfume.
It’s a conflict between history and moving forward (not to mention raising revenue). Jack wondered if he has the right to challenge John’s only true son. He told Kyle (Michael Mealor) it’s time to make changes and become his own man.
Jack wanted Kyle to team up with him so they could strike out on their own and take over the world. Jack has the experience – and the money – and Kyle has the youthful drive. They’ll be unstoppable!
Feeling empowered, Jack handed Billy his resignation. He waited for Kyle to do the same. Kyle didn’t.
Moon Over Miami
Abby (Melissa Ordway) had a Miami vacation booked… and no one to go with. She debated inviting Arturo (Jason Canelo), who admitted he would have had more fun if he’d accepted Abby’s offer to be his plus-one at the New Hope benefit.
He didn’t make the same mistake when Abby invites him to Florida. Arturo would be happy to go with her. Abby stressed that there will be two bedrooms. Arturo was cool with that.

Lily (Christel Khalil) embarrassed Charlie (Noah Alexandra Garry) by taking multiple pictures of him and prom date Shauna.
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) had to tell Hilary (Mishael Morgan) that her story about being prom queen has been countered by the real prom queen from her high school, and the post has gone viral.
Hilary spun yet another sad story about her sad childhood, and this led to her and Devon dancing… and kissing.
