The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Victor’s Kids Planned a Mass Exodus!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, May 31 finds both Nick and Abby considering exit strategies, Jack getting turned down for one of his own, Charlie keeping a secret from his family, and Hilary trying to get Devon alone to break her big news.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) had a solution to Victor’s (Eric Braeden) threat to sue him for custody of Christian and expose that Adam is actually the tot’s biological father. He wants to leave town with Sharon (Sharon Case) and the kids.

Sharon, although shocked by how low Victor is willing to stoop (why is anyone still shocked by that, at this point?) wasn’t enthused and told Nick he shouldn’t be making decisions out of fear.

As opposed to what she, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Victoria, and Nikki did with JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) body…

Nick talked to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about Victor using him against her, and, later, Victoria squabbled with Abby (Melissa Ordway) over her unscheduled vacation in Florida.

Abby also began to wonder about her future at Newman, and turned to Arturo (Jason Canelo), who cheered her up with a kiss. Just as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) walked in and spied the pair…

Secrets Storks
While Charlie (Noah Alexander Garry) struggled with hiding a runaway Shauna in his room, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) was desperate to tell all about her pregnancy to Devon (Bryton James) – but the timing was never right.

Jack (Peter Bergman) interrupted with a business proposal for Hamilton-Winters to launch a new cosmetics line – with him at the helm. They talked business with Neil (Kristoff St. John), and decided it’s not a good fit.

Phyllis declined to dress up like a stork so Hilary enlisted Lily’s (Christel Khalil) help, and finally filled Devon in. Joy to the world!
