The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, October 20 features crises point as Mariah forced Tessa to address what’s going on between them, Phyllis and Billy walked the fine line between truth and dare, Jack ordered Michael to get Graham out of Dina’s life, and a Cane/Victoria confrontation lead to tragedy!
Full Speed Ahead
Cane (Daniel Goddard) couldn’t stop boasting about his new job as acting head of Chancellor (which he got because his dad happens to be married to the woman who Cane once conned into thinking she was his mother — but nepotism had nothing to do with it, obviously).
He told an excited Juliet (Laur Allen). He also told her that Brash & Sassy has finally filled Juliet’s position — with Lily (Christel Khalil). Cane and Juliet are getting along so well that, when she doesn’t feel well, Cane asked Juliet to move in with him — for the baby’s sake, of course.
He also traded barbs with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about his new job… and Victoria’s general professional mismanagement. Plus, Cane got a jab in about Victoria sleeping with Hochman. People who live in glass houses, Cane, end up getting water thrown in their faces.
Is Cane’s taunting what led a distracted Victoria to get into a car accident?
Girl Power
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) kepys pushing Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) about how she really feels about Noah (Robert Adamson)… and men, in general. Tessa apologized for sending mixed signals. But she then urged Mariah to enjoy her relationship with Devon (Bryton James).
Abbott Habits
Jack (Peter Bergman) brow-beat Michael (Chistian J. LeBlanc) to track down Graham (Max Shippee) and revoke his Power of Attorney over Dina (Marla Adams). Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) tip-toed around being bad… but not so bad that it could ruin things between them… right?
