The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, April 12 features a girls’ night for Victoria that leads to multiple surprise confessions. Plus, Ashley is unpleasantly surprised by Kyle, even as she knows she holds the ultimate trump card.
Home Run
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) returned home, and told her kids the wedding to JT (Thad Luckinbill) is off.
Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) stomped off (like father, like son…), while Victoria had Billy (Jason Thompson) take Johnny and Katie.
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was game about hosting the kids – until Billy urges her to join the Girls Night Sharon (Sharon Case) is throwing for Victoria.
A grumpy Phyllis eventually showed up, along with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes).
The women played true confessions. Nikki admitted she has an open marriage – and a much younger man on the side.
Mariah talked about kissing Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Then passed out from too many margaritas on an empty stomach.
JT showed up and, once again, promised to be a good boy if Victoria takes him back. But Victoria is done.

The Beat Goes On
After a conversation with Victoria where Ashley (Eileen Davidson) reminded that she is not going anywhere at Newman, Ashley came home to find Kyle (Michael Mealor) trying to worm his way into Dina’s (Marla Adams) good graces.
Only he called it getting to know his grandmother.
Ashley was furious about Kyle’s plans to take Jabot public, though Kyle reminded her she stands to make a lot of money, too.
Ashley threw her nephew out and, not for the first time, wondered if she has the guts to stop him – and destroy Jack (Peter Bergman) in the process.
