The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, December 15 features JT getting dismissed by Reed, plus, Abby and Mariah confronting Scott, while Cane tried to reunite a family.
The Mother Of All Problems
Now that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) knows Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is behind the financial discrepancy at Newman Enterprises, she’s desperate to protect her mother – and her Dad’s company.
Victoria confided in Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc), who pointed out that Nikki and Victor (Eric Braeden) are still legally married, so they can’t be forced to testify against each other. Except Victoria thinks her parents would love to see the other behind bars.
When she presents the problem to Billy (Jason Thompson), Victoria’s latest ex-husband suggested Victoria seduce her previous ex-husband into dropping the charges. Victoria balked. But that didn’t stop her from attempting to at least charm JT (Thad Luckinbill). He was not biting.
Trip Down Memory Lane
Cane (Daniel Goddard) attempted to help reunite J.T. and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), but it only led to Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) recalling that Reed’s stepmother, Mac, was her and Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) surrogate mother.
Later, a run-in with Billy and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), led to viewers trying to figure out how old everyone is supposed to be, when Billy, Victoria, and JT were teens at roughly the same time as Phyllis’s son, Daniel.
Grabby Abby
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) blasted Scott (Daniel Hall) about his kiss with Abby (Melissa Ordway). Scott swore it meant nothing, and he’s in love with Sharon (Sharon Case). Earlier, he told Abby the same thing, despite admitting that yes, he’s attracted to Abby, but he also finds her annoying.
Abby totally feels the same. Phew, guess this means their kiss – and the sex – will never, ever happen again. That’s something we can be totally sure of.
