The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, January 30 features a clash of the titans with Ashley and Victoria marking their Newman territory, Noah telling Mariah that Tessa is all hers, Devon joining forces with the last person you’d expect, and Nick getting to the bottom of that money he found in his air duct.
This Town Ain’t Big Enough For the Both Of Us
Victor (Eric Braeden) promised Ashley (Eileen Davidson) he’d take care of Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and the tantrum she’d inevitably throw when she learned Ashley was now working for Newman Enterprises… in the cosmetics division.
But Victoria learned about it first… when she found Ashley in her office. Ashley admitted she’ll be working on Brash and Sassy, considering that when Victoria ran it, it almost went under.
Victor told Victoria Ashley’s experience will be good for them, and he’d rather have her there than competing with them at Jabot. Victoria pouted and made plans to leave town.
Good Riddance
Noah (Robert Adamson) told Mariah (Camryn Grimes) she’s welcome to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), but after the way Tessa treated her, Mariah didn’t want the disgraced songbird, either.
Mariah was more worried about losing her job at GC Buzz, now that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has decided to sell. But Hilary let Devon (Bryton James) talk her into selling to him – and his low bid – when he promiseds to make all her dreams come true.
Easy Come, Easy…Kept?
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was sure that the money he found in the air vent is Adam’s ill-gotten stash. He tokk it to the police, who tell him it’s… clean. Since Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is Adam’s heir, Nick gave her the money.
She said she’ll put it in trust for the kids, and donate to some of Nick’s charities. There… uhm… better be more to the story than this, no?
