The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Victor Threatens Victoria and Chelsea… Out Of Love, Of Course

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, December 1 features the start of the holiday season on a note of dread, as Cane’s son undergoes surgery, Ashley leaves Ravi unsettled, Victoria and Abby square off, and Victor makes it clear Chelsea will be dancing to his tune – or else!

Flesh and Blood
Lily (Christel Khalil) stood by Cane (Daniel Goddard) as Sam underwent surgery, and even donated blood – which is a better match than Cane’s. Cane notes that if the baby survives, it will be thanks to her.

Hang Loose
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) thanks Ravi (Abhi Sinha) for being there for her, and suggested they do it again. Ravi tried to schedule a date, but Ashley told him she prefers to keep things loose. Yeah, that makes a love-struck guy feel good.

Home Away From Home
Sharon (Sharon Case) wanted to ask Scott (Daniel Hall) to move in with her at the same time that he got a job offer in New York. Will Away In the Manger he go?

Sister/Sister
Victor (Eric Braeden) was surprised to learn that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) accepted Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) resignation, and ordered Vicky to rehire her sister.

Abby set some tough terms, which included not reporting to Victoria, and the pair sparred over who was the better Newman daughter.

Holly, Jolly Blackmail
But Victor had more important things on his mind. Like Christmas parties. Victor takes his Christmas parties very seriously. He stopped by Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) to inquire as to why she and Connor hadn’t RSVP’d to his upcoming soiree yet.

Chelsea explained they’ll be celebrating with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Christian. Oh, yes, speaking of Christian, how would Chelsea like it if Victor spilled the secret they’ve both been keeping about him? Now, about that party invitation….
