The Young and the Restless Recap: Party Crashers In GC!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, June 5 is all about Summer, as she lets Kyle and Mariah and Abby know she’s back… and she’s different now.

Plus, Summer’s parents ponder those changes, as Phyllis faces living with her daughter again, and Nick risks losing his other child.

Your Loss, My Gain
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) told Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) that they’re moving, and Nick admitted that Victor (Eric Braeden) knows about Christian’s paternity.

Phyllis warneds Sharon that living in San Diego doesn’t exempt her from keeping their secret about JT (Thad Luckinbill). Sharon reminded her that if Phyllis, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) go down, Sharon is going down with them. So, why would she blab?

Nick told Sharon how good he feels about his decision to sever all ties with Victor now that he understands that his dad will never change, when Victor showed up with papers suing Nick for custody of Christian. Yup, Victor will never, ever change.

Summer Nights
Summer (Hunter King) made a dramatic return to Genoa City, hitting Devon’s (Bryton James) party.

There she snarked with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and tried get Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) attention – until Mariah suggested she and Kyle are together, and dragged him onto the dance floor.

Summer hit on Arturo (Jason Canela), who was waiting for Abby (Melissa Ordway). Deciding Abby wasn’t coming, Arturo danced with Summer. Abby saw them and, having earlier accused Arturo of being interested in her for the Newman name, told Arturo he’s hit the trifecta – and dumped water over his head.

Tessa (Cait Faribanks) and Mariah made fun of Summer obsessing over her sports car, and having to park it on the street – just as a cop arrived to arrest Summer for stealing it.
