The Young and the Restless Recap (YR): Victor Vs. Nick: The Next Round!

The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Friday, June 22 features Victoria receiving shocking news about JT and rushing to share it with her co-conspirators, Phyllis returning to a series of surprises, and Nick making a major announcement that Victor, of course, has to one-up.

Don’t Leave Home Without It
Abby (Melissa Ordway) told Victor (Eric Braeden) Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) theory that JT (Thad Luckinbill) is the one behind the threats to Newman Enterprises. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) denied this strenuously.

Mac (Kelley Kruger) stopped by to tell Victoria that JT’s credit card has been tracked to various motels and car rental places in the Midwest. It’s also been used to send boxes. She told Paul (Thad Luckinbill), but he already knew.

Victoria huddled with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Sharon, and Phyllis to discuss whether JT might still be alive.

Taking a Gamble
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was surprised that Billy (Jason Thompson) wasn’t at the office when she returned from her business trip.

He’s still at home, having overslept after joining in with Summer (Hunter King) and her friends’ poker game.

Billy told Summer he’s a gambling addict and asked her to keep his slip a secret. He swore getting back into the game is not what he wants. Summer offered him a millennial ‘meh.’ And invited him to another game.

Going To the Chapel
Nick (Joshua Morrow) threw a party for friends and family to announce that he and Sharon (Sharon Case) are getting married – again.

Opinions were mixed, though attempts at enthusiasm were faked. Except by Victor. He’s genuinely thrilled. Victor pointed out that shackling himself to Sharon all but ensures Victor keeping his temporary custody of Christian.

Nick vowed to prove to Victor that money can’t be everything. He won’t stop till Christian is home. Victor gave Nick a geriatric smirk.
