The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Victor Has A Lot Of Explaining To Do!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, June 1 dares to go bare, as Jabot’s sunscreen launch is all washed up (and live on the air), Nikki bares all as she warns Abby away from Arturo… and needs to know why Sharon is moving out of town.

Nikki demanded to know if Sharon (Sharon Case) is moving out of Genoa City because of the JT situation, and how she manipulated Nick into it.

Sharon said no, Nick (Joshua Morrow) is actually the one pushing to leave town – and challenged Nikki to ask Victor (Eric Braeden) what that’s all about.

Jabot – As You’ve Never Seen Them Before!
Kyle (Michael Mealor) decided that Billy’s (Jason Thompson) live GC Buzz launch of Jabot’s new sunscreen is nothing more than a dull infomercial, so he livened up the proceedings.

Kyle dove in the pool to show how the sunscreen stays on even while wet. Unfortunately, his swimsuit did not stay on.

Even though the wardrobe malfunction quickly went viral, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) was furious over the kind of problems this might cause for her and Devon (Bryton James).

After Jack (Peter Bergman) teased Kyle about being used as a boy-toy instead of an executive, he suggested to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that they team up to start their own company. But Ashley broke her big brother’s heart when she admitted she can’t trust him.

All In the Family
Nikki has a real busy day as she spied Arturo (Jason Canela) kissing Abby (Melissa Ordway) and filled her stepdaughter in on Arturo’s previous relationship – with her. Nikki warned Abby that what Arturo might really be attracted to is the Newman fortune.

Abby complains to Ashley (who has her own history with Nikki and love triangles) and, later, ignores Arturo’s call.
