The Young and the Restless Recap (YR): Who Is Trying To Destroy Newman Enterprises?

The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Wednesday, June 20 if full of secrets, as Victoria gets a threat she takes professionally (and personally) Jack asks Cane for help, and Hilary is blindsided by Devon.

I Know All Your Secrets
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) received an audio file threatening to expose Newman Enterprises secrets.

She discussed it with Nick (Joshua Morrow), though talk quickly turned t0 Christian, and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) lawsuit. Victoria admitted that she supports her brother, but has to align herself with Victor for her career. Nick understood.

Victoria played the file for Victor, who dismissed it as an empty threat. He’s more interested in what Nick had to say. Later, Victoria received an office full of boxes proving that her mystery stalker has access to tons of sensitive Newman Enterprises documents.

Victor wondered who is after them? After all, he’s such a lovable, friendly guy…

Digging For Dirt
Jack (Peter Bergman) pumped Cane (Daniel Goddard) for details about Phillip Chancellor, since Cane once tried to pass himself off as the man’s true heir.

Cane, very reasonably pointed out that it doesn’t mean he – or Esther (Kate Linder), or the real Phillip, or his son – would know anything about the man’s illicit sex life.

Cane thinks Jack has become unhealthily obsessed, and he doesn’t want any part of this. Especially when Jack suggested exhuming Phillip’s body for a DNA test.

Baby-Moon
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) started foaming at the mouth when she thought that Devon (Bryton James) had fired her and was throwing her out.

Devon can barely get a word in edge-wise when he tells her he’s surprising her with a baby-moon. Because that is totally what a woman in the throes of morning sickness needs – a long plane flight to a tropical island where she can get on a boat!
