The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, August 29 features a plethora of righteousness. Nikki knows what’s best for everyone in her family, Mariah knows what’s best for Tessa, and Sharon knows what’s best for Crystal.
Tell Her About It
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) convinced Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) to tell Sharon (Sharon Case) and Paul (Doug Davidson) that Crystal is Tessa’s sister, and that Tessa has been snooping into the sex trafficking ring, too.
Paul wasn’t happy about Sharon and Scott’s (Daniel Hall) efforts to “help” the police. He wasn’t thrilled about Tessa’s, either. Mariah, on the other hand, was fully supportive. And Tessa was grateful.
Meanwhile, Nick saw a woman who looked just like Cassie’s adoptive mom, and called Sharon to warn her. Hey, remember when the Russian-speaking prostitute told Scott that the girls were being run by an older woman? Hmmm….
Unsolicited Advice
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) had a big day. First, she told Nick (Joshua Morrow) that he is a bad father for keeping Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) from Victor. Then, she told Victor (Eric Braeden) that he’s being a bad father for the way he’s treating Nick.
In between, Victor warned Abby (Melissa Ordway) to be careful around Zack (Ryan Ashton). So it’s Mother — and Father — Knows Best in Genoa City.
Enemy Of My Enemy Is….
While Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) shrieked at Lily (Christel Khalil) over the flowers Jordan sent her, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) suggested she and Cane (Daniel Goddard) team up. Hilary will help Cane with Lily, Cane will help Hilary with Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood), and everyone will end up living happily ever after.
Well, mostly Hilary. She doesn’t really care what the rest of you people do.
