The Young and the Restless Recap (YR): Shocking Confrontations And Romantic Situations!

The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Thursday, June 14 features a tension-filled day with Nick exploding at his father and promising that everything will be different from now on.

The Beginning Of the End
Nick (Joshua Morrow) beat himself up over not going after Victor (Eric Braeden) in court the way his father had Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) go after Sharon (Sharon Case).

Pushed to the breaking point, Nick cornered Victor at the club and dumped a box of Christian’s favorite things on him, telling Victor this is what he’s going to need to know now that he’s won custody of the boy.

Oh, sorry, no, what the nanny he hires to take care of Christian will need to know, since Victor will likely be as crappy of a grandfather as he was a dad.

Christian cried when Victor – and, hey, what do you know? A nanny! – come to pick up, and Nick vowed that this is the end. No more Mr. Nice Guy. Nick is going after his dad, and he won’t stop until Victor has lost his entire family!

Pulling Strings
When Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) won’t give Summer (Hunter King) money, she hit up Billy (Jason Thompson). Phyllis was furious and Summer hissed that she’s sorry to be such a disappointment.

When Billy won’t give Summer a job, she turned to Lauren (Tracey Bregman), who did. Now they’ll all be working together on the same floor!

Learn From the Best
Shauna prepared a special dinner for Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James) to apologized for being in their way. It ended with Devon inviting Hilary to their bedroom.

Inspired by Hilary going after what she wants, Shauna kissed Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry).
