The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Sharon’s Life Is In Danger!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, February 21 features the consequences of lying as Hilary makes yet another apology and promises to change.

Always Believe Women
With the truth out about Hilary (Mishael Morgan) helping Juliet (Laur Allen) lie about Cane (Daniel Goddard) sexually harassing her, Devon (Bryton James) only wanted to talk to her via lawyers.

She defended herself to Billy (Jason Thompson) by claiming it’s because Lily (Christel Khalil) grew up with everything, while Hilary had nothing. Ah-ha….

Billy suggested Hilary stop telling people she’s changed, and show them, instead. So Hilary made a public apology. What number would that be now? What’s that definition of insanity, again?

What’s New at Newman?
J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) and Victoria (Amelia Heile) had a romantic do-over date for Valentine’s Day, but, afterwards, JT subtly cross-examined her about some Newman happenings. This couldn’t have anything to do with his secret call to Paul (Doug Davidson) earlier, promising information, could it?

The Christian Thing To Do
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) made Sharon (Sharon Case) promise she won’t tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) about Christian’s true parentage–even if Phyllis is still determined to expose Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) without hurting Nick. She just wasn’t sure how she’s going to pull that off, yet.

But Sharon was having trouble keeping mum. She thinks it’s because of the conversation she had with Nick and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) about honesty. But who else thinks at least some of Sharon’s motivation is coming from the fact that she lost Christian (a.k.a. Sully).

She decided to call Nick and spill all. But then Sharon was smacked on the head and knocked out cold before she could get a chance.
