The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, November 29 finds Scott breaking a promise to Abby – and maybe to Sharon, as well. Plus, Devon supports Hillary, and Chelsea stands by Nick, even in the face of Victor.
Wherever You Go, I Go. Unless….
In a fit of joint righteous indignation, Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) decided to present a united front and tender their resignations to Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Abby went first, and played the “You can’t fire me, I quit” card. Then Scott went in, and was about to leave with his severance check when Victoria got a call. Seems his story on the sex-trafficking ring is blowing up the internet. Scott was rehired. And got a bonus.
Abby fumed and called Scott names. Scott explained to her how he has to stay at his job, because he is the only journalist in the world currently fighting injustice and without him the planet would descend into chaos (paraphrase). Abby grumbled.
Sharon (Sharon Case) watched and decided that Abby wants Scott. So Sharon decided she’s going to show Scott how much she wants him, too.
No Justice, No Peace
Nick (Joshua Morrow) agreed not to press charges against Dina (Marla Adams) for burning down his club when Paul (Doug Davidson) explained her health issues. Later, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) received an invitation to Victor’s (Eric Braeden) Christmas party… for her and the boys, only. She and Nick decided to have their own party.
Naked Truth
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) insisted she’s fine about Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) posting her nude pictures online, but then broke down in tears to Devon (Bryton James).
He supported her (and got Charlie and his friends to stop snickering), then suggested that getting some of her own medicine back might make Hilary less gossipy. Now what are the odds of that happening?
