The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, January 3 proves that you reap what you sow, as both Scott and Abby are forced to face Sharon’s wrath, Jack faces the consequences of taking on Dina’s care, and Chelsea faces the possibility that she can’t have it all.
You Ain’t Woman Enough To Take My Man
Nick (Joshua Morrow) told Sharon (Sharon Case) that he saw Scott (Daniel Hall) kissing another woman, though he declines to identify said woman. That’s OK, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) filled Sharon in that it was Abby (Melissa Ordway) – Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) saw them together, too.
A furious Sharon dumped food over Scott’s head (he doesn’t help his case by confessing it wasn’t just a kiss, they slept together, too; though Scott still insists he has no feelings for the Abbott/Newman heir). But Sharon saved the bulk of her wrath for Abby, as the two got into a full-out catfight in public, which Scott broke up.
Onward Christian Soldiers
Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Eagan) caught the altercation while having a business meeting at the Club – to which Chelsea was forced to bring Conner and Christian, because Nick was too busy dealing with his new park project.
Lauren admitted she’d be perfectly happy if Scott and Sharon broke up, while Chelsea was so busy rubber-necking, she didn’t notice Christian wandering off.
Second Shift
Dina (Marla Adams) ran off yet another nurse, and insisted she only wants her children to take care of her. And, if not her children, then Graham (Max Shippee).
While Jack (Peter Bergman) struggled with the fact that the only way he can hold onto his CEO of Jabot position is by delegating Dina’s care, who should be back in Genoa City but Graham, himself? It’s like the guy can hear trouble in Abbott-land! When he isn’t causing it….
