The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, October 23 features a major power shift, as Phyllis exposed everything she knows about Billy, Zach’s business may be getting away from him, and Juliet usurped Lily’s spot as lady of the manor.
Honest Broker
There wasn’t much honesty in the Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) love nest, as Phyllis schemed with Jack (Peter Bergman) to plant a fake text — which Billy read on Phyllis’s phone.
How dare the woman who professes to love him not tell Billy about something that could help his company and hurt the one she’s actually working with? Has Phyllis no loyalty?
Oh, yeah, Phyllis fires back, speaking of loyalty, who’s been using my phone and computer to conduct some corporate spying? Wait, don’t tell her, she knows! It was Billy! What’s he got to say about that?
Running Girls Is Hard To Do
There seemed to be another hostile takeover in the works as Zach (Ryan Ashton) realized his flunky, Leon, had taken to making decisions on his own. Zach is losing control! At least Abby (Melissa Ordway) is still buying what he’s selling.
Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) told Sharon (Sharon Case) his cops still haven’t found the missing Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck). Could she use Victor’s (Eric Braeden) resources to help them out? Because all evidence brought in by civilians is totally admissible in court and won’t come back to bite them in any way.
I Could Get Used To This
Ignoring Esther’s (Kate Linder) objection, Cane (Daniel Goddard) moved Juliet (Laur Allen) into the Chancellor house. Which is where Lily (Christel Khalil) found her. Lily sniffed that Cane hasn’t found the time to sign their divorce papers, but he certainly seemed to be moving on in other ways!
