The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, April 16 features Victoria, Sharon, Nikki, and Phyllis realizing that JT is dead – as Mariah wonders what’s going on.
Lights Out
Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Sharon (Sharon Case), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wanted to tie JT (Thad Luckinbill) up when they realize that he’s dead.
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) knocked on the door, wondering what was going on, and Sharon ushered her clueless daughter out.
Victoria wanted to call the police and confess all, but Phyllis insisted they’ll all end up in jail.
Victoria blameds herself, but the other women again tell her how wonderful she is and how she bears absolutely no responsibility for anything.
Nikki talks about her own abusive dad. She killed him. She’s not sorry about killing JT to protect her daughter. Especially now that Nikki also knows JT was the one who tried to kill Victor.
Blood Will Tell
Paul (Doug Davidson) is proven right and Christine (Lauralee Bell) is wrong for thinking Jack (Peter Bergman) pushed Victor after JT’s blood is found at the crime-scene.
Paul went to see Victoria, who lied about JT’s whereabouts, and the other women backed her up.

Failure To Communicate
Victor (Eric Braeden) was struggling to make Nick (Joshua Morrow) understand that JT is the guilty party, and finally blurted it out.
Nick called Paul to fill him in. Paul was searching for JT in Hawaii at the hotel Victoria told him she left JT at, when he heard that JT returned to Genoa City.
Meanwhile, Mariah heard the news on TV, as Phyllis said they need to get rid of the body.
