The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, May 29 finds Victor back to his old tricks as Victoria learned how she’s been played, and Nick found out how far Victor is willing to play him.
Justice Is What Victor Says It Is!
Nick (Joshua Morrow) allowed Victor (Eric Braeden) to convince him that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is fine about Nick becoming COO, while Victoria can’t imagine Daddy would give away her job to her brother.
Once Victoria learned the truth from Sharon (Sharon Case), she confronted Nick, who went stomping over to Victor’s. Victor has several well-prepared rationalizations for why Victoria is no longer trust-worthy, but Nick is again.
Nick wanted to walk away, but Victor warned him to think it through. Whoever takes the COO job will likely run Newman Enterprises some day – and it won’t be Vicky or Abby (Melissa Ordway).
If Nick turns it down, maybe Noah (Robert Adamson) will step up – or Christian. Nick doesn’t want Victor around Christian. Victor taunted that Nick isn’t Christian’s biological father. Nick responded to Victor’s move by snapping back that he already knows.
Who Are You?
Jack (Peter Bergman) continued to lament Kyle (Michael Mealor) refusing to walk away from Jabot and start a new company with him. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) wanted them to push Billy (Jason Thompson) to revoke the blood Abbott clause, instead.
When Dina (Marla Adams) mistook Jack for the help and acted as imperiously and obnoxiously as she must have when she was the lady of the manor, Jack had enough, packed his bags, and prepared to move out of the Abbott mansion.
Fool, Fool, Back To the Beginning Is the Rule
Devon (Bryton James) set up a romantic date for him and Hilary (Mishael Morgan), and the two decided they’re back together. Maybe Devon’s memory loss is back?
