The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, March 6 proves that no one in Genoa City is quite as smart as they think they are. Victoria is stunned that Victor hasn’t fired Ashley, Nikki confronted Sharon over Nick’s new living arrangements, and Hilary made an outlandish request of Devon.
Put Up, Grow Up, or Shut Up
Victor (Eric Braeden) questioned Ashley (Eileen Davidson) about the Newman file JT (Thad Luckinbill) found in Jack’s (Peter Bergman) office. Ashley felt sure Victoria (Amelia Heile) set her up. And she told Victoria as much, too. Ashley is going to enjoy watching the whole scheme blow up in Victoria’s face
Victoria, meanwhile, didn’t understand why Victor hadn’t fired Ashley yet. Victor said he needs to do more investigating first.
He also managed to belittle JT in the process, which prompted another temper tantrum from JT, who ended up telling Victoria she will never be her own woman or a real CEO until she stands up to her Daddy. Oh, and they can’t be together fully, either, until then.
Ranch Hand
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) was furious to learn that Nick (Joshua Morrow) is living with Sharon (Sharon Case), and she and Sharon exchanged harsh words.
But Nick, who, earlier wasn’t happy to learn that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) told Billy (Jason Thompson) about Christian’s paternity, wouldn’t back down. Nikki turned to Victor, who surprised her by not minding the new arrangement. Nick and Christian are back on the ranch. That’s all that matters to him.
No Maybe, No Baby
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) asked Devon (Bryton James) to father her child. But it would be purely a business arrangement – she was even willing to pay him for his trouble! Hilary was clearly clueless. Devon grew up without a father – did she really think he’d be willing to do the same to his own child? No way, no how, Devon responded.
