The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, November 22 features an eventful Thanksgiving, as Nikki and Nick invite themselves to dinner at the Newman ranch, while Abby shows herself out.
Nothing New At the Newmans
Victor (Eric Braeden) hosted Thanksgiving dinner for the family members he’s still speaking to. That number shrinks a bit when Abby (Melissa Ordway), furious at Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for bad-mouthing her start-up stomped out in a huff.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) showed up unexpectedly. Victor told them they’re not invited. But then Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) did her patented ‘I’m an adorable little girl and no one can ever say no to me’ shtick and he relents.
While Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick patched up their differences, at the end of the night, Victor told Nikki to see herself out.
About the Abbotts
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was so upset about Dina’s (Marla Adams) deteriorating mental state that she uninvited Ravi (Abhi Sinha) from Thanksgiving dinner.
Jack (Peter Bergman) was so upset he announced he’s taking a leave of absence from work in order to spend more time with her. Traci (Beth Maitland) and Abby sniffled. Dina was the only one who appears to be taking it in stride – and with humor.
Best of Billy
Billy (Jason Thompson) had an epic idea for the holidays – he and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) should go to New Orleans!
Billy did not seem to recall that Phyllis broke up with him. Phyllis was having trouble recalling it, too, as the pair kissed and made plans for their trip – Nick and Chelsea can come along, too! Oh, and now they’re stuck paying for two apartments again.
