The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, December 20 features matters coming full circle as Nikki gave Victor what he wanted.
Corporate Merger
Victor (Eric Braeden) set up a romantic dinner for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott)–and then makde her a business offer.
Victor won’t bring Nikki up on charges for stealing his money, if she agrees to move back to the ranch and resume her place by his side – in public. She will also refrain from bad-mouthing either him or Newman Enterprises.
Nikki accepted – with a couple of conditions of her own, and starts moving her things back in. Victor wondered what she did with the money. Nikki told him she bought a park.
The Way We Were
Lily (Christel Khalil) was not happy to see Hilary (Mishael Morgan) hanging around Cane (Daniel Goddard), talking about baby Sam, and swearing she’s turned over a new leaf.

Devon (Bryton James), on the other hand, was intrigued by the new and improved Hilary, especially when she inspired multiple donations to his toy drive. Sharon (Sharon Case) noted that Devon was looking at his ex-wife like she’s what he wants to find under the tree, Christmas morning.
Voter Fraud
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) agreed to disagree about their Jabot CEO vote, and promised they won’t let any professional disagreements get in the way of their relationship.
Meanwhile, both Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) regretted letting business get in the way of their sibling relationship. Both are sorry about how matters turned out, but both still feel they’re in the right. Jack said he wants Ashley to reinstate him as CEO, but she said she’s applying to make the position permanent.
