The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, March 14 was a day of ultimatums, concessions, and discoveries.
Victor (Eric Braeden) told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) how he intended to settle their stalemate, while he also tried to appease Abby (Melissa Ordway), even as Ashley wouldn’t let Jack (Peter Bergman) feed her a line.
Plus, neither Lily (Christel Khalil) nor Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was thrilled about Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) baby-making plan, and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) crises led to Nick (Joshua Morrow) catching Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) in the act with Arturo!
New Plan
Ashley won’t stay at Newman if Victoria does. Victor didn’t want to fire Victoria – something Abby called him out on, but when Victor asked if Abby intended to quit, too, she knuckled under, still wanting Daddy’s approval.
Ashley and Victoria continued sniping at each other until Victor arrived and told Victoria she can stay – as long as she steps down as COO.
No Deposit, No Return
While Mariah just kind of babbled upon learning that Devon and Hilary want to have a baby together, Lily begged her brother to reconsider. And then she ordered him to reconsider. And then she decided to take matters into her own hands and eavesdropped on Hilary’s call with her doctor.
My Eyes! My Eyes!
First, Nick helped fix Sharon’s furnace. Then he helped her feel better after a girl Sharon gave her counseling card to was found dead. Then Nick agreed with her idea to start a non-profit to manage more low-income housing. Nick rushed over to Nikki’s suite at the club, intending to float the concept by his mom.
But, instead, he got an eyeful of her with Arturo… definitely not going over blueprints. Unless Arturo is very, very near-sighted.
Because it’s none of his business, Nick just walked away quietly and never mentioned what he saw to another soul… Yeah, who thinks that’s going to happen?
