The Young and the Restless recap (YR) for Monday, June 11 finds Victor once again using his bad past to ruin everyone else’s present, Phyllis facing the consequences of raising a Mini-Me, and Hilary and Devon getting a sneak peek at parenthood.
Stand By Your Man
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tried to convince Victor (Eric Braeden) to drop the custody suit for Christian before he loses not just Nick (Joshua Morrow) but his entire family.
Victor boo-hoo’d about how everything he does is because he’s afraid of losing everyone he loves, which is why he does horrible things to prove how much he loves them.
Victor warned Nick that his arrogance will be his downfall, but Nick shot back that he’ll do anything to beat Victor – even stoop to his level.
Meanwhile, Nikki tossed Sharon’s (Sharon Case) blackmail threat back in her face, and said she’ll be sticking by Victor. Sharon will be sticking by Nick. Now that they’ve settled that, Nikki warned Sharon not to hurt Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Mommy Dearest
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) isn’t happy about the cynic Summer (Hunter King) has become. She tried to convince Kyle (Michael Mealor) to reunite with her daughter, but Kyle’s not interested.
Billy (Jason Thompson) tried to mediate between his girlfriend and her daughter, but all he got for his trouble is a scantily-clad Summer flirting with him. She let Billy know that if he goes running to Phyllis, she’ll claim he misunderstood her intentions.
Dinner For Three
Unaware of what’s going on in her own home, Phyllis urged Hilary not to let Shauna get in between her and Devon.
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) cooked (OK, orders in) dinner for Devon (Bryton James) to try and push the romantic part of their relationship. But then Shauna showed up. She offered to leave, but Devon and Hilary said it’s fine if she stays.
