The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, September 27 finds Graham finally admitting what he’s after, Mariah losing her nerve, Jack playing Phyllis in an attempt to trap Billy, and Zack realizing Scott is after him.

Daddy Issues
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Graham (Max Shippee) have been sniping at each other since the moment they met. And now we know why! They’re siblings!

Graham’s father is Brent Davis, who was also Ashley’s biological dad. For obvious reasons, Graham’s mother, Myrna, isn’t a big fan of the Abbotts in general, and Dina (Marla Adams) in particular. This has been one very, very long con to get Dina’s money… or is there something more to it than that?

Double Agent
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) misses Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) discussing how he used her computer to steal confidential information from Jabot, and Billy won’t promise Victoria that was his last time doing it.

Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) suspects that Billy is the one behind the theft, but instead of telling Ravi (Abhi Sinha) to put up a firewall, he decides to plant misleading data for Billy to find.

Later, he lies to Phyllis and says it was a false alarm, there was never a breakin. The pair agree that if there was, the culprit would be unforgivable.

All the News That’s Fit To Post
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) decides against sharing her attraction to Tessa with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) after the songbird says she thinks of Mariah as family. Tessa gets a text about her real family, Crystal, from Natalia, who is using Alice’s (Tamara Clatterbuck) phone and seemingly hoping Alice won’t notice the text she didn’t send.

Alice had talked to Zack (Ryan Ashton) about Crystal earlier, just as Zack learned from Abby (Melissa Ordway) that Scott (Daniel Hall) is working on a sex-trafficking exposé. Genoa City is a very small town.
