The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, September 28 features Tessa and Mariah kidnapping — and freaking out — Alice, Zack pumping Scott about his sex-trafficking exposé, and Lily making a decision about Cane, Juliet, and the baby.
Seeing Ghosts
Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck) sent her top two girls out on their “dates,” and gives them a pep talk on how to act — as if we haven’t already seen Natalia confidently playing her dates for all they’re worth. But maybe it makes Alice feel useful. Alice likes feeling useful.
When the doorbell rings, she assumed her charges had forgotten something, and eagerly opened it — only to have Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) toss a bag over her head, shove Alice in the car, and drive her to the Newman stables.
There, Alice saw Mariah, screeched, “Cassie?” and passed out cold. Yup, that’ll help them find Crystal.
Write On!
Zack (Ryan Ashton) manipulated Abby (Melissa Ordway) into joining Sharon (Sharon Case) and Scott (Daniel Hall) for dinner, where Zack pumped him for details about his latest writing project. Scott wasn’t happy to hear Abby blabbed about his hush-hush topic, while Abby wasn’t happy to see Zack “befriending” Scott.
Win Or Losers
Lily (Christel Khalil) decided she can’t handle the idea of Cane (Daniel Goddard) sharing a child with another woman, and told her husband they’re through. Devon (Bryton James) supported Lily’s decision, while Hilary (Mishael Morgan) urges Cane to fight for his wife.
Cane called Hilary on only caring about him and Lily because it will keep Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) away from Cane’s wife. Cane told Hilary to give up that particular ghost — they’re both losers tonight.
Cane tried to drink his troubles away, but then Juliet (Laur Allen) showed up… and recalled how Cane swore to protect their baby boy. She said she’ll leave Cane alone. Will she?
