The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, September 20 features Kevin returning to Genoa City, Lily walking out of marriage counseling, and Nick and Chelsea saying goodbye.
Thank Heaven for Kevin!
You know the best part about getting a mentally ill woman released from a psychiatric facility, accidentally helping her kill your son, spiriting her out of the country, faking her death, locking her up with a psychiatrist who’s got a few loose screws himself, then turning a blind eye to her fleeing town with the love of her life and their daughter?
You then get to use said love of her life for your own nefarious plans! And there’s nothing he can do about it, because you’re holding his girlfriend’s future in your skeletal hands!
Yup, Victor (Eric Braeden) is the man, all right. Now that he knows Kevin (Greg Rikaart) is hiding with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Bella in Seattle, he can make Kevin do all his dirty work for him! (Because that worked out totes well with Chloe the last time.)
Victor summoned Kevin to Genoa City and informed him that he will be helping Victor with his plot against Nick. Kevin said, “Yes, sir,” because, really, what choice has he got?
Missing You
Nick (Joshua Morrow) needs to go out of town for a few days — which is somehow connected to Victor’s plot, though he doesn’t know it — so he tells Chelsea to watch herself where Victor is concerned. Then they had sex. On the couch. Where any of the kids could come in at any moment.
Forget About It
Lily (Christel Khalil) admitted she only came to marriage counseling with Cane (Daniel Goddard) for the kids’ sake. Otherwise, she can’t forgive him. But Cane forgave Lily her affair!
Well… that… Juliet (Laur Allen) is having Cane’s baby! And Lily can’t have Cane’s baby because she had cancer. So there, Lily wins. And she’s out of here.
