The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Tuesday, May 15 features a game of hide and seek, as the Abbotts desperately search for a runaway Jack… and someone to replace him as CEO.
Follow That Signal!
Nick (Joshua Morrow) followed who he thinks is JT (Thad Luckinbill) based on his cell phone signal, but only found a homeless man. The police reprimanded Nick.
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) tolds Victoria (Amelia Heinle) what her brother is up to, and Victoria reprimanded him, as well.
The police seized JT’s phone and told Victoria they want to talk to her about some texts they found. Victoria panicked and asked Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) what they should do.
And, we wonder – does the Genoa City PD not know that you can get texts without having the physical phone? Especially if you’re the cops?
Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
With Jack (Peter Bergman) missing and work to be done, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) suggested Billy (Jason Thompson) step in as CEO.
Billy reluctantly agreed and says he’ll revoke the blood Abbott clause, too, so Ashley can take over. Ashley gave Billy her business plan, but Phyllis urged him to be his own man and run Jabot. The two made out, because that’s how all their conversations end.
Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) told Kyle (Michael Mealor) she knows he’s the one who sold out Jack to Victor (Eric Braeden).
Dance, Baby, Dance
Devon (Bryton James) was listening to music from an artist he might sign, and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) joined him for a hot and heavy dance. But this is all still totally a purely business relationship. As Victor would say – “You got that?”
