The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: JT Uses Vicky and Reed As Bait!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, March 19 finds JT singing a different tune – for his own selfish reasons, while Nick confronts Nikki about her new boy-toy, and Lily tricks Billy – who is happy to go along.

Seek And Ye Shall Find!
Paul (Doug Davidson) demands results from JT (Thad Luckinbill), who claims he’s thisclose to bringing down Victor (Eric Braeden).

But that is totally not the reason why, when Victoria (Amelia Heinle) asks JT if she should quit Newman, JT encourages her to stick it out. Or why he volunteers to pick up Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) from the ranch.

Or why, when Victor wants to finish their chess game, JT tells his son to take his time. JT will make some phone-calls. In the other room. Where Victor’s files are. Victor catches him, but JT deflects.

Later, he tells Victoria they should all spend more time with her dad. Beat Victor at his own game, JT says.

When Asked, Tell
A grossed out Nick (Joshua Morrow) confronts Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about Arturo. He’s worried about what Victor will do when he finds out. She confesses that she’s having a fling with the hunky handyman, but insists that she and Victor have an arrangement. Nikki basically tells her son to stay out of it, and he agrees – for now.

Models Inc
Billy (Jason Thompson) stops by Lily’s (Christel Khalil) to remind her about the Walnut Grove reunion, but is easily distracted when Lily says she’s about to interview aspiring models. She asks if he wants to stick around and help – oh, and the models will be topless.

Billy can barely roll his tongue back into his mouth to agree, only to learn that the topless models are all guys. Billy is good-natured and goes along, and even offers some constructive advice. Later, he and Phyllis share a drink with the now fully clothed crew.
