The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: J.T. Hides a Secret From Victoria – And Billy!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, January 22 features a day of secret-keeping, as J.T. held back something critical from Victoria, Tessa denied Mariah’s accusations, and Ashley and Jack agreed to go along with whichever delusion Dina was going through at the moment.

Moving On In!
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) had a long, mature discussion about how they’ll break news of him moving in to Johnny and Katie. All of that goes out the window when Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) dropped the kids off after school, and Billy saw J.T.’s suitcase.

Billy let his ex know he thinks it’s a terrible idea. Victoria didn’t care and suggests to Phyllis that Billy might be jealous. Later, J.T. secretly downed a pill with some wine. Based on how cryptic he was being about it, we can assume it’s not a vitamin supplement.

She Says, She Says, She Won’t Say
Devon (Bryton James) took Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) side when she swore she wrote her own lyrics, and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was just confused. She refused to show Devon or Noah (Robert Adamson) her journal to prove her case.

She said she doesn’t want her privacy and her private feelings exposed. Did it ever cross Mariah’s mind that if she didn’t claim Tessa’s lyrics, they would have remained… private.

We’ll Always Have Paris
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) couldn’t agree on what time period to coddle Dina (Marla Adams) in, so when Abby (Melissa Ordway) suggested shipping Grandma off to Paris, the siblings went through a token argument before agreeing to let Traci (Beth Maitland) escort her.

Now that Dina is out of the way, the pair can return to squabbling over Jabot. The arbitration is back on!
