The Young and the Restless Recap: Sharon And Nick Put On A Show!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, June 29 features Victoria and Nikki to wondering if they can believe their own eyes, Summer asking Billy for another favor, and Sharon and Nick to putting on a show for the social worker coming to evaluate their fitness as parents.

Victor (Eric Braeden) won temporary custody of Christian, but the final decision is still pending, depending on a social worker’s report.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) did their best to explain how much they love Christian, and why he is better off with them. Sharon took responsibility for her past, but insisted that she’s recovered. If Nick didn’t believe that, they wouldn’t be remarrying.

The House Always Wins
Billy (Jason Thompson) wasn’t happy that he has to lie to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about spending the night bailing Summer (Hunter King) out of the financial hole she’s dug herself into.

Summer begged Billy to be her friend, but he said she just can’t keep coming to him for help. He urged her to grow up, and the two agreed to hit the reset button and start their relationship over again.

Later, Summer kept Phyllis from finding one of Billy’s lost poker chips, and assured him she’s got his back.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) wanted to know what Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis, and Sharon were doing, hanging around together in the middle of the day.

Charity work! They’re doing charity work!

They’re actually talking about the possibility of JT being alive and the one behind the release of of Victor’s incriminating records.

Victor asked to see the security footage from a breached Newman site. He, Nikki, and Victoria got together to watch, and the women are stunned when it appeared to be JT on the screen!
