The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, September 13 has Jack accusing Billy of spying on Jabot — what’s Phyllis going to do about it? Plus, Cane caught Mattie in a lie, Abby caught Zack in a misstep, and Mariah refused to let Devon placate her.
I Spy
Jack (Peter Bergman) told Phyllis that he’s convinced Brash & Sassy has a spy at Jabot. And he’s sure it’s Billy (Jason Thompson). Phyllis wasn’t so sure. Until a conversation with Billy — and his over-the-top denial that it couldn’t be Victoria — made her wonder.
What will Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) do when she finds out that Billy isn’t only spying on Jabot, but he’s using Phyllis’s computer to do it?
CSI Genoa City
Cane (Daniel Goddard) learned that Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) cut school. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) called Mattie at Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) to warn her, and the teen called her dad with a bogus story about a flat tire. But Mattie obviously forgot that Daddy used to be a conman.
And it takes one to know one. He stormed in on Reed, finds Mattie’s headband, and then the recriminations commenced flying. That’s when Victoria (Amelia Heinle) arrived. And the shouting became a duet.
You’re Better Than This
Abby (Melissa Ordway) offered Jabot the chance to advertise in her dating app. Jack laughed in his niece’s face. Why, exactly, would he support a Newman property? So Abby turned to Brash & Sassy.
Zack (Ryan Ashton) told Victoria she could take over a space Jabot won’t. This almost costs them the deal. Abby covered but later blasted Zack for his rookie mistake.
Going Nowhere
The Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Devon (Bryton James) relationship continued to stagnate, as neither is giving the other what they need, but both refused to admit it. Mariah looked at Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) kissing Noah (Robert Adamson). And frowned.
