The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, September 18 features a cryptic and mysterious day.
Blame Game By Name
Victor (Eric Braeden) blamed Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) for putting an end to Faith’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) hero-worship of her granddaddy.
Nick blamed Victor for doing the thing that put an end to Faith’s hero-worship — and then coercing the little girl into lying about it.
They exchanged blame, then threats, then stomped off in a huff, promising not to protect each other anymore. Later, Victor made one of his famous mysterious phone calls, and told the person on the other end that he needs them back in Genoa City.
Framed By a Picture!
Abby (Melissa Ordway) decided that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Jack’s (Peter Bergman) renewed relationship is her business. Nikki and Jack disabused her of that notion. Abby wanted to know why Victor is so unhappy these days.
Nikki doesn’t tell her that, either. Abby leaves, and Jack and Nikki step outside to take in the fresh air — and make out. A shadowy figure snapped their picture. (Hey, Jack, remember what happened the last time someone took your picture in the woods?)
Double Mother
Dina (Marla Adams) confessed to Graham (Max Shippee) that John wasn’t Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) biological father, while Ashley learned Graham is hiding his mother — the one who he told Dina was dead — in a pricey nursing home.
Grab and Snatch
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) worked out at the gym and had sex in the steam room. So, it was a good day?
