The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, August 24 finds Cane watching Jordan make himself at home — in Cane’s home, Victor manipulating Faith, and Tessa getting a shock in the hunt for her sister.
Crystal Clear
For the last couple of weeks, the missing Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) had been the most popular girl in town. Everyone was looking for her — Paul (Doug Davidson), Sharon (Sharon Case), Scott (Daniel Hall), and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks).
Tessa came the closest to finding Crystal after receiving a text from the runaway, but she only ended up butting heads with a thug who put Tessa’s sister on video and got her to convince Tessa to drop the whole thing. Or else.
Tessa covered with Mariah (Camryn Grimes), but the redhead knew something was up. Will she be the latest person to get caught up in this stranger’s drama?
A Man Of Faith
While Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow) discussed how to break the news to Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) about Nick moving in with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) after Victor (Eric Braeden) threw him out, Victor was helpfully undercutting them both.
He headed up to Faith’s camp to give her his version of events (and some brownies), and to assure her that he would always be there for her — no matter what her Mommy and Daddy might say. Wasn’t that sweet of him?
Seat Filler
Right after Hilary (Mishael Morgan) got through taunting him about Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) moving in on Lily (Christel Khalil) was probably not the optimal time for Cane (Daniel Goddard) to walk in on the pair.
They were having dinner with Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) — in Cane’s house. (Was Jordan even sitting in Cane’s chair?)
But was it also a good time for Cane to just quietly slink away?
