The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Hilary Is Pregnant! (She Says….)

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Monday, April 23 features an episode in the family way, as Hilary announced her pregnancy to Devon, Reed questioned Victor about JT, and Kyle considered making a change of alliances (and jobs)….

Who’s Your Daddy?
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) tried to get Devon’s (Bryton James) attention, but he pointedly avoided her.

So she dropped a positive pregnancy test (in a plastic bag, don’t worry) on his desk. Devon was less than thrilled, so Hilary dared him to rip up their contract.

Devon said he’d never do that to their child. Hilary predicts Simone won’t like it, but Devon just told her to keep him posted on the pregnancy, and stomps off in a patented huff.

Where’s My Daddy?
Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) demanded Victor (Eric Braeden) answer his questions about JT (Thad Luckinbill), but when Victor was honest about JT trying to kill him – and speculated that he only reunited with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to spy on Victor – Reed threw a fit.

Nikki told Victor to be more gentle with the boy, but Victor was sticking with tough love. Because it worked so well with his own children.

Reed hightailed it back home, where he wasn’t reassured by Victoria strongly suggesting his dad won’t be coming back.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) wanted to know why Kyle (Michael Mealor) had her slightly-fried flash drive. But, Kyle wanted to know what she’s hiding.

Kyle also wanted Victor to give him a job at Newman, but Victor urged him to stay at Jabot and play the long game with Jack (Peter Bergman).

Meanwhile, Nikki hooked up with Arturo, and warned him that Victor knows Arturo exists – he just doesn’t know his name. Later, Arturo had a drink with Abby – while Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) watched…less than pleased.
