The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Friday, June 8 features a plethora of women going after what they want. Sharon takes on Victor and Nikki to help Nick keep Christian, Summer turns to another source when Phyllis cracks down, Abby takes a firm stand, and Hilary fights for Shauna.
Devon (Bryton James) was not happy to learn that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) invited Shauna to move in with them. Neil (Kristoff St. John) reminded Devon that he and Dru (Victoria Rowell) did the same for Devon back in the day, so he’d better man up.
Hilary promised Shauna she’ll give her a home no matter what. Neil said Shauna can stay – with Hilary, in her room.
Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures
Sharon (Sharon Case) went to Victor (Eric Braeden), begging him to drop the custody battle for Christian.
Victor mumbled about refusing to let anymore children and grandchildren slip through his fingers. He also reminded Victoria (Amelia Heinle) of what a disappointment she is.
So Sharon turned to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Nikki had better get Victor to back off or Sharon will spill what she knows about JT (Thad Luckinbill)!
I’ll Get a Fast Car
Summer (Hunter King) flounced in front of Billy (Jason Thompson) while wearing barely anything.
He took her to see Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) at work and Summer asked for a new car to replace the one she was accused of stealing. Phyllis said no. Summer pouted and then got Grandpa Victor to buy one for her.
Never Again
Arturo (Jason Canela) confronted Nikki about spilling about their affair to Abby (Melissa Ordqay). He asked Abby for another chance, swearing he was never interested in her money.
Abby said no and, before Victor can call her a disappointment also, told him there is nothing going on between her and his contractor.
