The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, July 11 features a slew of changes for Genoa City power players.
The verdict on Christian’s custody is handed down, Sharon makes a confession to Mariah and swears her to secrecy, Summer lies to her mother for Billy, and Hilary and Nate have the exact same conversation – again.
Mothers and Daughters and Fathers and Sons
Sharon (Sharon Case) confirms to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that JT (Thad Luckinbill) was at Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) girl’s night out.
Sharon lies that they helped JT get away, and makes Mariah promise not to tell Nick (Joshua Morrow). If the truth gets out, they could lose Christian.
Victor likely will not respond well to finding out Sharon aided the man who tried to kill him. He will overlook that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria were in on it, though. The family gets some good news, however, when Nick receives custody of his son!
Taking a Gamble
Summer (Hunter King) distracts Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) when she wonders where Billy (Jason Thompson) is.
Billy is off gambling, trying to win Jaboat back. Summer texts Billy that the coast is clear, and Billy tells Phyllis that he’s working hard at the office. Just as Phyllis arrives to find it dark.
Phyllis worries to Hilary that Billy is cheating on her. Now why would she think that? Oh, yeah, right… She used to be the other woman.
Hilary gives Phyllis the name of a private investigator… just in case.

Ring My Bell
Nate (Brooks Darnell) lectures Victor (Eric Braeden) about following his health regiment.
Victor tells him he finds it doesn’t fit with his schedule. Nate warns that Victor is asking for trouble.
After Victor leaves, Nate accidentally locks himself out of Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) apartment.
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) sees him and says snotty things. She resents him heckling her during her medical show. He says snotty things back. Neither helps Nate get back in.
