The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Chelsea Prepares To Leave Town – But Not Alone

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, February 22 picks up right after Sharon’s knock on the head. Phyllis pinned the blame on Chelsea, who prepared to flee town -after one quick stop to pick up two things she can’t live without, while Mariah sobbed over her mom, and Hilary ran around looking for approval in all the wrong places.

Family Help
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) discovered an unconscious Sharon (Sharon Case), as Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) hid. Sharon was rushed to the hospital, where Mariah (Camryn Grimes) threw a fit and beats herself up over refusing to call Sharon ‘Mom.’

Mariah and Nick (Joshua Morrow) sat vigil at her bedside, where Nick talked mostly about himself and wondered what Sharon was trying to tell him before she was knocked out. Sharon started to stir as Nick asks who did this to her?

Me and My Boys
The person who did this to her, Chelsea, wrote a goodbye note to Nick and prepared to flee town (but what will she use for money now that her crypt cash is gone?), just as Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) started banging on her door, swearing she knew Chelsea was responsible, and ordered her to step up.

Chelsea slipped out yet again, and headed for Victor’s (Eric Braeden). She wasthere to pick up Connor. Oh, and Christian, too. Does Chelsea plan to leave Genoa City with both of Adam’s sons?

Why Don’t You Love Me?
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) beared her soul on The Hilary Hour, and sat back waiting for the accolades and compliments about her bravery to start rolling in. Especially from Devon (Bryton James).

Except her ex wasn’t particularly impressed. He told Hilary that her stunt was self-indulgent (you think?), and that she’s in breech of contract, using the show to deal with her personal issues.
