The Young and the Restless Recap (YR): Suspicious And Devious Minds!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, June 21 features Ashley and Victoria wondering who is trying to bring down Newman, Cane and Billy wondering why Jack is so obsessed with being a Chancellor, and Summer scheming to put her mother’s boyfriend in his place.

Who’s Doing It?
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) sparred over who sent the confidential files and the threatening audio. Victoria pointed the finger at Jack and Abby, while Ashley thought it could be Nick (Joshua Newman) or Victoria, herself.

They then realize that all the documents are from the time when JT (Thad Luckinbill) was in charge of Newman security. Another threatening message comes in.

Inherit the Wind
Cane (Daniel Goddard) won’t ask Jill (Jess Walton) for permission to exhume Phillip’s body.

He said he thinks Jack is only doing it to worm his way into Chancellor Enterprises. Billy (Jason Thompson) agreed. Neil (Kristoff St. John) questioned his friend, but Jack was vague. It would be nice to be part of a family again. And a family company….

Later, Billy came home in a bad mood, and Summer (Hunter King) invited a bunch of friends over to play poker. In front of a recovering gambler. Billy gave into temptation.

Coupling
Abby (Melissa Ordway) went to Arturo’s (Jason Canela) apartment with him. When he stepped out to get them some drinks, Abby finds a bra in his sofa. Arturo returned, and Abby was gone.

Neil did as he promised Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan), and checked in on Shauna. She showed him how seriously she is studying for the SATs.

Neil leaves, and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) comes out of hiding. They make out, but when Shauna brings up sex, Charlie takes off.
