The Young and the Restless (YR) Recap: Ashley And Abby Confirm Dina’s Claim!

The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, May 9 features Jack trying to process what just happened, Billy, Ashley and Abby reaching out to help him, and Kyle complaining he’s not getting his fair share of sympathy.

Plus, Cane wants to make sure Charlie isn’t blamed for the explosive footage.

What Makes a Family
Billy (Jason Thompson) assured Jack (Peter Bergman) that he’ll always be John’s son, and they will always be brothers.

Jack remembered giving the same speech to Ashley (Eileen Davidson), but it feels different when the shoe is on the other foot. Victor (Eric Braeden) shows up to gloat, because he’s classy that way.

Kyle (Michael Mealor) complained to Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that they are so worried about Jack, but what about Kyle? He lost something, too!

Billy insisted it might still be untrue, but Ashley and Abby admitted they ran a DNA test. The Abbotts insist they are all still family.

Don’t Blame Me
Dina (Marla Adams) did her usual, you can’t blame me, I don’t remember anything shtick, but at least, this time, Jack lets her have it.

The family wondered how that clip got into the screening, since it wasn’t in the preview Charlie showed them.

I’d Like To Thank the Academy
Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) was kicking himself, wondering how he could have screwed up so badly, but Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) assured him he isn’t to blame, and even presented him with a cheesy award. Charlie made an acceptance speech.

Later, Cane showed up at the Abbotts and warned them not to blame Charlie. Someone else is to blame, and the family better go looking for them.
