Could Juliet Be Lying to Cane on The Young and the Restless?

After a night of sightseeing and sake in Japan, Cane woke up hungover on The Young and the Restless and found Juliet’s earring in his bed.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) confronted Juliet, who admitted that she was in his room, but simply to put him to bed. Later, Cane returned to Genoa City and discovered a piece of Juliet’s lingerie in his bag.

Yet again, Juliet had an explanation. She stayed the night in Cane’s room and apologized for being unprofessional.

Since Cane has no recollection of the night’s events, post sake, he’s taking Juliet at her word. But is she telling him the truth or lying? Some 4,500 fans of The Young and the Restless responded to our Soap Hub poll on the subject.

Yes, She Lied
Some 91% of you are convinced that Juliet is a big fat liar! Something did happen between her and Cane or at least she orchestrated things to make it look that way.

Remember, she told Cane she wanted to be division manager of Brash & Sassy’s Asia division, and he promised to recommend her to Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

If things don’t pan out the way she wants, you think Juliet will use what happened in Japan to force Cane’s hand or retaliate against him.

No, Nothing Happened
Juliet was on the up and up when she told Cane that nothing happened between them, say 8% of you. The reason is simple: you don’t believe Cane would ever be untrue to Lily (Christel Khalil), no matter how much he had to drink.

Lily always has been and always will be the great love of his life. Cane would never do anything to jeopardize their happy family — drunk or not.

Just Not Sure
A small 1% of you aren’t sure what the truth is. Cane could have had a wild night of passion with Juliet (Laur Allen) or perhaps not. It all could be a set up that leads to blackmail. Or it all could lead to nothing. Time will tell…
