Last week, Steve Burton announced to the world via Twitter that he would be leaving his role as Dylan on The Young and the Restless in December.
Big Surprise
The news didn’t just shock his fans, but his co-stars, as well. Eric Braeden, who plays his stepfather Victor responded, as did Doug Davidson who plays his father, Paul, and Greg Rikaart who plays his character’s co-worker, Kevin. Each man tweeted their sadness at the star’s exit.
The Exit
There hasn’t been any official word on how Burton’s character will be written out of Y&R, but as the walls close in on Sharon (Sharon Case) — thanks to Patty (Stacy Haiduk) — it’s a good bet Dylan will find out his wife has been lying to him about “their” son. Chances are that he won’t handle that news well at all.
