Michael Muhney may be gone for his role as Adam on The Young and the Restless, but he still has many admirers of his work from his time on the top-rated soap opera!
Muhney recently announced he was returning to the airwaves in a guest spot on ABC’s The Good Doctor, and now he’s updated news on that appearance by revealing his episode’s airdate.

On Wednesday, Y&R’s ex-Adam tweeted that his episode of the new ABC drama will air on Monday, Oct. 16 in the show’s regular time slot at 10 p.m.
No word yet on who Muhney will be playing, but Soap Hub can tell you that the series is about a young doctor by the name of Shaun Murphy (played by Freddie Highmore) who is also an high-functioning autistic man.
Dr. Murphy takes an unorthodox approach to medicine, but don’t be surprised when his methods turn out to be exactly what’s best for his patients!
There’s no news on if Muhney’s character could recur, but Soap Hub will keep you posted on developments as they become available!
