The Young and the Restless Star Lauralee Bell Takes On New Role

Court’s in recess for Christine on The Young and the Restless given that there are no major cases pending for the district attorney’s office (though we have our eye on you Zack!)

So Lauralee Bell, has embarked on a new project, one that will keep her busy for a little bit of time.

Mum’s The Word
Bell first hinted that she’d be taking on a new endeavor when she posted an Instagram photo of her getting a much-needed hug from her mom, Y&R co-creator Lee Phillip Bell, whom Bell says gives the “best hug(s) around.”

Mystery Project
The actress then posted a photo of her on the first day of her new project, revealing that she’s No.1  on the call sheet, which means she’ll be starring in this new undertaking.

Going For The Gold
Taking on projects outside of Y&R is nothing new for Bell. She has starred in and/or produced such Internet projects as Family Dinner (which featured Emmy-winner Cloris Leachman), Just Off Rodeo, and mI promise, which shined a light on the hazards of texting and driving among teenagers.

The latter project won Bell a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Special Class-Short Format Daytime Program in 2014.
