It’s been a huge week for former “Young and the Restless” star Jessica Collins. On Sunday she won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress and on Wednesday, she married to the love of her life!
Collins shared the news of her nuptials with husband Michael Cooney on social media Wednesday evening. Back in January, the couple welcomed their first child, Jemma Kate.
“Just when I thought the week couldn’t get any better… #Mr&Mrs #Hitched #JustMarried #PerfectDay, ” Collins wrote in her post that featured the couple’s stunning ring
Soap Hub would like to send our heartfelt congratulations to the happy couple and wish them many, many wonderful years together!
Collins created the role of Avery Bailey Clark on Y&R in 2011. She left the show rather suddenly in mid-2015 after a traumatic sexual assault storyline that kept fans in tears. Avery remains one of the most talked about character and is still missed by fans.
Although there are no immediate plans for Collins to return to the show, the star did say it may one day be an option. “I never say never,” she told the press in her post-Emmy interview.
