She’s earned a pre-nomination this year for her role as Phyllis on The Young and the Restless but Gina Tognoni has some more Emmy news to share!
The fan favorite actress was last year’s winner in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category.
She accepted her statue that day, but the accolade was incomplete until now!
Tognoni posted on Instagram that she received an engraved band that wraps around her Emmy. The plate has her name, the role she plays and the show she’s on.
Tognoni has a total of three Daytime Emmys now, having won two before for her role as Dinah on Guiding Light. Will she bring home a fourth this year?
The final nominations come out on Wednesday, March 21 and the statuettes will be given out on Sunday, April 29 in Pasadena, Calif.
The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
