Fan favorite Eileen Davidson was a featured player not only on “The Young and the Restless,” but also as the star Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Is she returning for season 7?
According to Christian Today, Davidson’s role is up in the air for the latest installment of the Bravo hit series.
The show is reportedly demoting some of season 6’s leading cast members into supporting roles.
Will Eileen Return To “RHOBH?”
The website reported that the actress has not been asked to return to the series for season 7 when it begins filming later this year in a primary role.
Rather, Davidson was asked to be in the series as a “friend of the wives”.
Rumor has it that she’s hesitant to take on this new position, as it’s a demotion from her initial star turn on the show.
Website Tamra Tattles reported that Davidson was unhappy with the idea of showing up as a “friend” of co-star Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie, Days).

On her official blog for the Bravo reality series, Davidson said she and pal Lisa Rinna had nothing to gain by telling the truth on the series and everything to lose.
Speaking Her Mind, No Matter What The Cost
“There’s something else I must address. Neither Lisa R. nor I have anything to gain by calling out Lisa Vanderpump,” she explained of the explosive blowout that occurred between Rinna and Vanderpump on the series finale.
“It’s not like we get a bonus check from Bravo or a new BMW with a bow around it. No one throws us a pizza party. Nobody hands us a bunch of balloons. In fact, it makes our lives harder,” Davidson continued.
“Our honesty has made us targets for the hate and vitriol unleashed by Lisa V., her husband and her die-hard followers. So, I ask you all, with nothing to gain, and possibly our future on the show to lose, why would we do it?”
Bravo Television has not formally commented on whether or not Davidson would be returning to the show.
