There’s great news for those missing former The Young and the Restless heartthrob Chris McKenna (ex-Detective Harding). He’ll be back on TV this fall in two brand new roles.
Primetime Stardom!
McKenna took to social media (see below) to announce he’s joining the cast of the hit series Mom on CBS. He’ll be on the show for their season premiere on Oct. 27. So far his role as Derek appears in only one episode. It’s currently unknown if the role will be expanded.
Also this fall, McKenna will get back to his roots as a TV cop when he plays Lt. Grossante on the show Grimm. The episode is set to air on Oct. 28.

He also returned to daytime when he took on the role of Katie’s (Heather Tom) psychiatrist on Y&R’s sister show The Bold and the Beautiful. At the time viewers were hoping he’d become Katie’s new love interest.
Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Additionally, for more The Young and the Restless spoilers updates, recaps, and news, go to Soap Hub’s Facebook fanpage and join the conversation about all your favorite soaps!
