The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Friday, July 14 center on Nikki finally sitting down at the piano… but will she make music — or a big mistake? And will Cane’s kids find out they’re about to become big siblings?

Tickling the Ivories
In the time it’s taken Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to decide will she or won’t she play in the big MS charity concert, Mozart could have written an entire new symphony.

In the time it took Abby (Melissa Ordway) to figure out that she could fix the broken soundboard by just getting a new soundboard, Beethoven could have gotten a cochlear implant.

And while Nikki fussed and fretted, Victor (Eric Braeden) figured now would be the best time to go in for a kiss.

Doesn’t the woman have enough on her mind?

We hope you’re happy, Victor. Because Nikki was all set to play through the pain, but now she’s sitting at the keyboard, frozen. Is it the MS, or is it you weakening her resolve to never get close enough to The Mustache — and the man attached to it — to even be tempted?

If she butchers Bach, it’ll be all your fault!

Considering how much they bicker now, it’s highly unlikely that Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) ever begged their parents for a baby brother or sister. Plus, Lily (Christel Khalil) is all out of eggs — and willing surrogates.

Considering how much they bicker now, it’s highly unlikely that Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) ever begged their parents for a baby brother or sister. Plus, Lily (Christel Khalil) is all out of eggs — and willing surrogates.

But it looks like they might be getting one anyway, now that Juliet (Laur Allen) is pregnant, and the baby appears to be Cane’s (Daniel Goddard).

Cane considered just walking away, but then Lily yelled at him to step up and be a man, for a change.

Now that she’s told him he has to play Daddy, Cane has to tell his kids about their sibling to be….
